Tomorrow Esteban Gutierrez will travel to Zurich to meet with the Sauber team and be part of the launch of the Sauber C32-Ferrari car that the Mexican driver will use during the 2013 Formula One season.
Given the proximity of the 2013 season which starts next week with official trainings in Spain, Gutierrez said he is ready to begin this new challenge.
"I´m very, very calm, and ready to travel with the team, overall I think it will be a very interesting experience and I will enjoy the whole process.
"Basically we will be looking to achieve consolidation and adaptation in the beginning and take every opportunity to achieve good results. We must focus on the sport aspect, right now that is my focus and my goal is definitely to get to the top," said the Mexican.
Esteban said that in Mexico, the love of motor sport has increased in recent years and believes it will continue to rise with the participation of the two Mexican drivers in the top series.
"The interest in the sport has increased in Mexico and that benefits everyone and now that there are going to be two drivers in Formula One we hope this grows more and more.
"It´s a big commitment but in the end we have to think we´re doing what we love, everything will result from our actions, it´s a great recognition and a great honor to represent Mexico," said the driver.
After the presentation of the C32, Esteban will take part in the official training in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, from February 5 to 8.
